The auto bailout has officially failed

What happened to all that rhetoric about bankruptcy being an unacceptable choice for these two American legends by the Democrats and their RINO brethren? We were told that if we didn`t bail them out we would be discriminating against the common blue collar worker who would lose their job if these two giants went bankrupt. Well guess what, three-thousand dealerships are being closed and tens of thousands of American workers are being laid off, so that we can outsource their jobs to a labor union free China and by some strange coincidence the UAW owns a large stake in Chrysler.

The government's plans include giving stakes in the new company to GM's union and bondholders, although the ownership structure of the company is still being negotiated, said the source who is familiar with the company's plans.


They shoulda just let them go belly-up in the first place.It would have been a lot cheaper!
Oh but we were told, "they're too big to fail".I wonder if our once great nation is "too big to fail".
