when is our government going to stop treating terrorists like soldiers and soldiers like freaking terrorists?!!!

7 Stories Obama Doesn't Want Told

Presidential politics is about storytelling.
Barack Obama won the 2008 election because his staff were better storytellers than the opposition. Now, it seems Obama’s gift for controlling his image shows signs of faltering.

Here are seven storylines Obama needs to worry about:
  • He thinks he’s playing with Monopoly money
  • Too much Leonard Nimoy
  • That’s the Chicago Way
  • He’s a pushover
  • He sees America as another pleasant country on the U.N. roll call, somewhere between Albania and Zimbabwe
  • President Pelosi
  • He’s in love with the man in the mirror

What Eric Holder and Barack Obama, two lawyers, are doing is an absolute miscarriage of justice and an abuse of the American justice system

KSM in New York City: The Show Trial of the Century

If this was going to be a truly honest civilian trial, it would be tossed out of court for dozens upon dozens of reasons, not the least of which is the fact that KSM received absolutely no due process and can’t possibly hope to have an unbiased jury in New York City. Those who are pretending that this will be anything but theater are being dishonest, as Criminal Law 101 tells them otherwise.

Maybe we can recoup some of the ungodly expense (security costs, and the like) through merchandise. Better start producing those Khalid Sheikh Mohammed bobbleheads and tee shirts. How 'bout a waterboarding booth?

Not just another murder in tha Hood

It was a dark day for the U.S. armed forces, compounded by the fact that this senseless slaughter could/should have been avoided.

Did no one find his history of peculiar behaviour odd?

Was this the result of a coerced tolerance for diversity run amok?

PTSD my ass! he'd not been in combat, and was calm mere hours before. This was a calculated, cold-blooded attack and he needs to die!

Just a thought, if he'd fired upon Nancy or Barry, would some have considered him a hero?

America never voted for change like this

You can't make this stuff up

Obama campaign sued for trademark infringement by National Canning Center
It seemed like a natural phrase for a new, inspirational presidential campaign: Yes, We Can. But, as it turns out, it has been the trademarked slogan for the National Center for Home Food Preservation and Canning -- the trade association folks in DC who advocate for the many ‘canning’ companies around the nation.
“It’s outrageous,” declared Homer “Deacon” Jones Jr., the president and grandson of the founder of the Intercourse Canning Company of Intercourse, Pennsylvania. “Over the years, we have suffered enough from the ‘Intercourse’ jokes. My father, Homer Sr, and his father, Malcolm before him, just took it all in stride. But when someone takes our prideful slogan, ‘Yes, We Can!’ and usurps it for political purposes, well, that makes my blood boil. That slogan is known all over the country for just one thing: Canning.” The Intercourse Canning Company is known for canning beets, pickles and tomatoes. Mr. Jones was the President of the National Center for Home Food Preservation and Canning from 1996 to 2002.

Now, if we CAN just get a cease and desist order against all those singing kids....

Just in case you've been living under a rock, or in a coma....

...here's the Difference Between Conservatives and Liberals.

* If a conservative sees a U.S. flag, his heart swells with pride.
* If a liberal sees a U.S. flag, he feels shame.

* If a conservative doesn’t like guns, they don’t buy them.
* If a liberal doesn’t like guns, then no one else should have one either.

* If a conservative is a vegetarian, he won’t eat meat.
* If a liberal is, they want to ban all meat products for everyone.

* If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat it.
* If a liberal see an enemy he wonders what he can do to appease him.

* If a conservative is homosexual, he’ll quietly enjoy his life.
* If a liberal is homosexual, he’ll demand everyone get involved in his bedroom activities.

* If a successful conservative is black or Hispanic, he’ll see himself as having succeeded on his own merits.
* Successful liberal minorities still claim “racism” and want government to give them even more.

* If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to work to better his situation.
* A liberal wants someone else to take care of him.

* If a conservative doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels.
* If a liberal doesn’t like a radio show, he demands that the station be shut down or censored.

* If a conservative is a non-believer, he just doesn’t go to church.
* Non-believing liberals demand that everyone cease believing and demands churches be censored.

* If a conservative needs health care, he shops for it, or chooses a job that provides it.
* Liberals demand that everyone else provide him with healthcare for free.

* If a conservative sees a law, he thinks long and hard before suggesting a change.
* If a liberal sees a law he assumes it is just a suggestion and does what he wants anyway.

* Conservatives feel there is a right and wrong.
* Liberals feel that nothing is really wrong… unless it is believed by a conservative.

* Conservatives believe in freedom, responsibility, tradition, and self-reliance.
* Liberals believe in license, government restrictions, upending tradition, and collectives.

Get the picture?

God & Guns

Sometimes I wanna light up
underneath the no-smoking sign
Sometimes I wish they'd tell me,
how justice got so blind
I wish they'd just leave me alone
'cause I'm doing alright
You can take your change on
down the road and leave me here with mine

'Cause that ain't my America
That ain't this country's roots
You wanna slam old Uncle Sam
But I ain't letting you
I'm mad as hell and you know I still
bleed Red, White, and Blue
That ain't us
That ain't My America

I was standing there in Dallas
Waitin on a plane
I overheard an old man
Tell a young soldier "thanks"
The young soldier hung his head and
said "it's hard to believe
you're the only one who took the
time to say a word to me"

Rush calls Obama 'BOY'!!!

... or something to that effect.

I believe the actual quote was "the man-child president".

As usual, Rush is right.

... as for the subject of sports team ownership, what's the big deal? he's no Marge Schott.

"Saved... or Created"??!

Here’s a story to illustrate the White House stimulus spin on the unemployment numbers:

A 300 pound man walks into his doctors office for his yearly checkup. After a thorough goings-over, the doctor says to the man, “Sir, you need to lose weight if you wish to remain healthy.” Of course, the man agrees and promises the doctor he will immediately start a diet.

Exactly one year passes and the man finds himself back in the doctors office again. When he gets on the scale he tips it at 320lbs. The doctor says. “Sir, you’ve gained 20 pounds, I thought you were going to go on a diet.” To which the man responds, “I did lose weight doctor, if I hadn’t gone on that diet, I would have weighed 340 pounds.”

There are many problems with the White House claims. Let’s start with just the top ones:

  • The economy continues to shed jobs. The Administration’s economists claimed that passage of the package would keep the unemployment rate at about 8 percent. Since the passage of the “stimulus,” however, more than 2.7 million jobs have been lost, as early October data showed. Any job numbers touted by the Administration will have to be seen against this background.
  • “Indirectly” saving/creating jobs. The White House’s “indirect” job creation number is taking their bogus metric of counting “jobs saved/created” to a whole new level. One can indirectly claim credit for anything. Buy a lot of hamburgers? You personally “indirectly saved or created” five jobs at McDonalds.
  • “Saved/created” metric will overstate impact. Leaving “indirect” job creation aside, the “saved/created” metric is so utterly flawed (as even President Obama’s chief economist Christina Romer admitted saying: “It’s very hard to say exactly because you don’t know what the baseline is, right, because you don’t know what the economy would have done without it.” ) So even if they scrubbed the data for three weeks to prevent the massive errors found in the first batch of data, the numbers will be highly inflated because the underlying premise is flawed.

  • Saving/creating government jobs. The data will show that the bulk of the jobs “saved/created” are government jobs - mostly jobs in the unproductive sector of the economy, furthering no economic growth, and preventing necessary streamlining of an already bloated bureaucracy. Ultimately, the package is propping up government at the expense of taxpayers.
  • Strings attached only aggravate the problem. State and local governments are beginning to feel the strings attached to the federal “stimulus” dollars. Several provisions in the “stimulus” package prevent lawmakers from making certain budget cuts or adjustments that would alleviate fiscal strain. In the case of Washington state, the "maintenance of effort" provisions in the Recovery Act prevent the state from adopting eligibility standards for Medicaid that are more restrictive than those in effect on July 1, 2008, and education budget reduction restrictions also apply. Most states failed to quantify the restrictions. The likely result as states work to fix their budget problems: tax increases which will further depress economic growth and kill jobs.
  • Taxpayers pay steep price. Even if you were to grant the Administration the 650,000 jobs created – using the roughly $150 billion figure of “stimulus” funds spent, the cost per job “created/saved” would come out to more than $230,000. Not exactly a bargain.

So much for tranparency...

House Democrats blocked the public from attending the unveiling ceremony of their health-care bill Thursday morning, allowing only pre-approved visitors whose names appeared on lists to enter the event at the West side of the Capitol.

The West side of the Capitol is traditionally open to the public. But the entrances were blocked off Thursday morning by metal fences, with Capitol police officers standing next to staff members holding clipboards with lists of approved attendees.

I guess when they said "most transparent administration ever", they were referring to the fact that any sane person with a brain would be able to see right through their lies and Bull Shit

Cash For Clunkers: Taxpayers paid 24K per car!

The average rebate was $4,000. But the overwhelming majority of sales would have taken place anyway at some time in the last half of 2009, according to Edmunds.com. That means the government ended up spending about $24,000 each for those 125,000 additional vehicle sales.

I guess the only good thing about "Cash For Clunkers", is that it took so many Obama/Biden bumper stickers off the road.

Obama has only been in office for just over nine months, but he's already hit the links as much as President Bush did in over two years!

The news that President Barack Obama has has gone golfing more times in 9 months than Bush did in 2 years is interesting in several respects, including one which has been overlooked by the mainstream media and even the conservative media, as far as I can tell. Why is it that in every picture of the president’s golf outings he’s driving a golf cart? Does he not realize that by using golf carts instead of hiring a caddy he’s depriving an individual of a job?

Guess the caddy lobby isn’t donating as much to him as the trial lawyers are.

I discovered a new blog

ok, I had some help. I found it by way of Adam, who got it by way of MC, who stumbled upon the author over at Ann Althouse(aka Mare McCheese-head)'s blog.

“[W]hite Americans do not realize how black they are.”

True for some, perhaps, but not for your humble correspondent. Like so many white, privileged, slave-owning adolescents, my first sexual experience was with our sassy, independent-minded, and opinionated house maid.

"She looked a lot like this, and I’ll never forget what she said, as she tugged down my knee-breeches and her eyes bugged out with delight: “Lawdy, lawdy, Massuh Bissage, you done gots a baddie biggsah brothah, you does!” She let out a chuckle and squatted her massive self on my hegemony until soon I was pumping her full of great gobs of liquid master race.

So it is a simple fact that some white Americans fully realize how black they are. It follows, thus, that there must be some black Americans who realize they have some white in them. Those would be the ones who do well on standardized tests."

For more along the same ilk visit Bissage's blog.
I intend to put him in my sidebar. (one caveat, he is a lawyer--but I won't hold that against him-yet)

Dirty, Stinking Commies

Chavez limits citizens' showers to 3 minutes.
You just know that "the boy wonder" in the White House is lovin' this idea.
Look out, we may be next.

....and speaking of dirty commies, it would appear that those empty promises of transparency are about to become further opaqued:
The White House has told Congress it will reject calls for many of President Obama's policy czars to testify before Congress - a decision senators said goes against the president's promises of transparency and openness and treads on Congress' constitutional mandate to investigate the administration's actions.
It would seem that professor Obama has little understanding about how the three branches of govt. are supposed to keep each other in check.

This man is continually proving to be a foe of liberty.

This bastard AND his supporters should be both shunned and ridiculed!

These Left-Leaning-Liberal-Pussies Should be careful what they wish for...

.... After all, If your music is being used for torture, isn't that just confirmation that THEIR MUSIC SUCKS?

A number of high-profile musicians -- including members of Pearl Jam, R.E.M. and the Roots -- pressed the government Thursday to name the songs it blasted at the Guantanamo detainee center to coerce or punish prisoners held there, the Washington Post reported Thursday.

A quick skim through the article confirms it. All the artists named blow.

In related news, this is quite cool!

Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the creators of South Park, were given a signed photo of Saddam Hussein by US marines after the former Iraqi leader was shown their movie in prison.

Stone, 37, said both he and Parker, 39, were most proud of the signed Saddam photo, given to them by the US Army's 4th Infantry Division.

Here are some Saddam clips.

God Bless all the South Park-ers!

Obama to control T.V.

On September 10th of this year the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) posted a press release informing the world that “from October 19-25, more than 60 network TV shows [will] spotlight the power and personal benefits of service,” and that this “unprecedented block of TV programming is the first wave of a multi-year ‘I Participate’ campaign.”

A new 'antiseptic' for the masses

Our current government must really love the middle class...

... because they continue to F#@K us.

Under the health-care plan advanced by Max Baucus, lower- and middle-class people who have insurance today are going to be taxed and squeezed in order to cover people who don't.
Obama promised again and again that he would not increase taxes on the middle class.
What happened? Yet another broken campaign process? "just words"?
This asshole is so full of empty promises, yet there are still mindless idiots willing to support him.
Things are gonna get a lot worse before they get better! They're gonna have to.

The [Further] Death of Journalism

What truth is proof against all lies?

The Society of Environmental Journalists held a conference in Madison, Wisconsin questioning why mainstream journalism (AKA the state-run media) was dying.
Former Vice President Al Gore -who never allows journalists questions- was giving his first Q & A in 4 years.
Phelim McAleer, the director of Not Evil Just Wrong, asked Gore about the British Court Case which found his documentary An Inconvenient Truth had nine significant errors.
McAleer asked that given Al's documentary is being shown in schools – does he accept the errors and has he done anything to correct them?
Gore declined to address the issue and McAleer continued to press for a straight answer.
How did his "fellow journalists" react? The result is alarming for the future of journalism. The response of the Society of Enironmental Journalists was not to applaud one of their own for bringing truth to power but instead they decided it was their role to protect Al Gore from An Inconvenient Question, and Phelim's mic was shut off.

MC is right! Death is too good for "the fourth estate", heat the tar! Fetch the feathers! Let us brutally butcher all these bastards! -- OK, maybe those weren't his exact words, but the sentiment was inferred.

I Felt As If My Head Had Exploded! ... but I must now break my silence.

Cartoon by Dave Granlund

I'm sure you all know by now that our "community organizer in chief" has just been awarded the freakin' Nobel Peace Prize. WTF!!!
This idiot hasn't even done anything yet--nothing good especially, and if one were to examine the nomination and selection process guidelines you would find that he was chosen after only 12 days in office.

Let's take a look at how he spent those first 12 days;

January 20: Sworn in as president. Went to a parade. Partied.

January 21: Asked bureaucrats to re-write guidelines for information requests. Held an “open house” party at the White House.

January 22: Signed Executive Orders: Executive Branch workers to take ethics pledge; re-affirmed Army Field Manual techniques for interrogations; expressed desire to close Gitmo (how’s that working out?)

January 23: Ordered the release of federal funding to pay for abortions in foreign countries. Lunch with Joe Biden; met with Tim Geithner.

January 24: Budget meeting with economic team.

January 25: Skipped church.

January 26: Gave speech about jobs and energy. Met with Hillary Clinton. Attended Geithner's swearing in ceremony.

January 27: Met with Republicans. Spoke at a clock tower in Ohio.

January 28: Economic meetings in the morning, met with Defense secretary in the afternoon.

January 29: Signed Ledbetter Bill overturning Supreme Court decision on lawsuits over wages. Party in the State Room. Met with Biden.

January 30: Met economic advisers. Gave speech on Middle Class Working Families Task Force. Met with senior enlisted military officials.

January 31: Took the day off.

February 1: Skipped church. Threw a Super Bowl party.

This whole scenario is a freakin' joke. Although, it's not as if I had all that much respect for this award anyway. Think about it. The award was created by the man who invented dynamite and then went all soft and queer and felt guilty. This same award was given to that moron Carter, that blowhard Al Gore, and that murderous bastard Arafat while such great nominees as Churchill, Ghandi, and even Rush Limbaugh were passed over.

I think what upsets me most is that it stripped me of the glee I felt when the Olympic committee snubbed that arrogant narcissistic bastard (his wife is also full of shit!)

Some have said that without his flowery speeches (courtesy of his teleprompter) B.O. is no more than W with a tan, but I have to disagree. Bush boasted about the greatness of America, but Obama only brags about the greatness of Obama.

A Historical Revisionist Takes a Closer Look at Josef Ganz

In 1934, Dr. Ferdinand Porsche was commissioned by Adolf Hitler to develop the KdF-Wagen. Dr. Porsche came up with a lightweight car built on a platform chassis with a center tube, a rear transaxle with a horizontal engine, a swing axle suspension in the back, and independent suspension in the front. The body is a simple aerodynamic shape we recognize as the VW Beetle.
BUT, Josef Ganz, a Jewish engineer, was producing and selling a nearly identical car three years before Hitler and Ferdinand Porsche introduced their Beetle.

"a neoconservative is a liberal mugged by reality"

One of the primary founders of the neoconservative movement in the United States died today, at the age of 89.

"After all, if you believe that no one was ever corrupted by a book, you also have to believe that no one was ever improved by a book (or a play or a movie). You have to believe, in other words, that all art is morally trivial and that, consequently, all education is morally irrelevant. No one, not even a university professor, really believes that."

House guidelines for presidential put-downs

Free Speech Dies Further Amongst Our Congressional "Representatives"

House Rules Committee Chairwoman Louise Slaughter (D-NY) has released a helpful, updated primer for members regarding their conduct on the floor and in committees.

Under section 370 of the House Rules and Manual it has been held that a Member could:

• refer to the government as “something hated, something oppressive.”
• refer to the President as “using legislative or judicial pork.”
• refer to a Presidential message as a “disgrace to the country.”
• refer to unnamed officials as “our half-baked nitwits handling foreign affairs.”

Likewise, it has been held that a member could not:

• call the president a “liar.”
• call the president a “hypocrite.”
• describe the president’s veto of a bill as “cowardly.”
• charge that the president has been “intellectually dishonest.”
• refer to the president as “giving aid and comfort to the enemy.”
• refer to alleged “sexual misconduct on the president’s part.”

Obama vs Obama

President Obama changes course on the stimulus

(via Conservative Punk - yes, Rizzuto is back!)

Next, here is a cartoon from Mark Fiore which explains that 'we can love both Obamas because together one of them is always right!'

40 years ago today, Mary Jo Kopechne died in the car of US senator Ted Kennedy when it went off a bridge and into the water at Chappaquiddick in 1969 under circumstances never fully explained.

Ironically, he supports amnesty for those sneaking across the Rio Grande.
This just may be the quote of the century!!

Who is to blame for the world's financial problems.?

Media analysts try to place blame on free market capitalism or the greedy middle class(?!). However, the blame lies solely on the fraudulent Federal Reserve system. This quasi government corporation prints money out of thin air (at interest to U.S. taxpayers), manipulating interest rates, devaluing currencies, and creating artificial boom and bust cycles. The American people need to understand how this system operates and stop complying with their own slavery. - Alex Jones

Millions of dollars in stimulus money are going to new signs bearing the spiffy, white house created stimulus symbol.

Stimulus money going to promote the stimulus?!

At the end of the report, the reporter says that the administration is planning to revamp the Stimulus website for the cost of 18 million dollars!!!

Her answer screams of racist eugenics; extermination of the "undesirables" through selective breeding.

Funny, I don't recall too much coverage of this story in the mainstream/state-run media.

In a New York Times interview, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg explained her thoughts on the Roe v. Wade decision:

"Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of. So that Roe was going to be then set up for Medicaid funding for abortion."

Really though, we shouldn't be surprised. Ginsburg's quote is just a continuation of Planned Parenthoods founder Margaret Sanger's vision of abortions place in America. Sanger, in her book The Pivot of Civilization, referred to blacks, immigrants and indigents as, "..human weeds,' 'reckless breeders,' 'spawning... human beings who never should have been born". In 1919, Sanger wrote that the aim of birth control was, "More children from the fit, less from the unfit...". (h/t)

The Obama Deception is a hard-hitting film that completely destroys the myth that Barack Obama is working for the best interests of the American people.

The Obama phenomenon is a hoax carefully crafted by the captains of the New World Order. He is being pushed as savior in an attempt to con the American people into accepting global slavery.

We have reached a critical juncture in the New World Order's plans. It's not about Left or Right: it's about a One World Government. The international banks plan to loot the people of the United States and turn them into slaves on a Global Plantation.

Covered in this film: who Obama works for, what lies he has told, and his real agenda. If you want to know the facts and cut through all the hype, this is the film for you.

Watch the Obama Deception and learn how:

- Obama is continuing the process of transforming America into something that resembles Nazi Germany, with forced National Service, domestic civilian spies, warrantless wiretaps, the destruction of the Second Amendment, FEMA camps and Martial Law.

- Obama's handlers are openly announcing the creation of a new Bank of the World that will dominate every nation on earth through carbon taxes and military force.

- International bankers purposefully engineered the worldwide financial meltdown to bankrupt the nations of the planet and bring in World Government.

- Obama plans to loot the middle class, destroy pensions and federalize the states so that the population is completely dependent on the Central Government.

- The Elite are using Obama to pacify the public so they can usher in the North American Union by stealth, launch a new Cold War and continue the occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan.

It truly must be the end of days.

This week I found myself to be in agreement (for just a brief instance) with both Pelosi and Obama!

I fully agreed with that bitch when she stated, "I don't think it's necessary for us to have a resolution." re. Michael Jackson. For a change this witch opted for decency, rather than honour that depraved deviant.

.... and who wouldn't agree with Barry, that that YOUNG chick has a nice ass?!

So I suppose ther is some sort of bipartisan common ground to be had.
Who'd a thunk it?

So Much More Than "The Fourth Of July"

Happy Independence Day!
Please call it what it is. You don't call Christmas "the 25th of December".
In every nation on Earth -even those bound into tyrannical submission- they have a "4th of July", but only here in the greatest nation do we celebrate the birth of a nation ( not to be confused with The Birth Of A Nation) on this date.
We, as Americans, should take a moment to reflect upon our (now waning) liberties and thoes who sacrificed to make it so.
I fear that these liberties are to be further stripped away by this evil regime which has currently taken hold of our country.
I'm sure that Obama, Pelosi, Et Al will be celebrating "the fourth of July today".They had better, for for them to refer to it as "Independence Day" would be a further bastardization of truth and decency...another lie perpetrated on the American people and our way of life.
Obama celebrating "Independence Day" woud be like jooz and mooslims celebrating Christmas- and that ain't right.
It's time to wake up America and take our country back. What better day to start?

You'd think it was Ron Popeil

For 3 days now the news has been saturated with reports on the death of huckster Billy Mays.

I recall when first I heard the news on the radio; "T.V. pitchman Billy Mays Dyes" , I thought 'big deal, that's not news! it's obvious to anyone that that's not his real hair color'.
Then I realized they spoke of his death. My attitude then switched to 'big deal, he's no Ron Popeil.'But enough already, I ,like the state-run media, have spent far too much time on this trivial "news" matter.

Michael Jackson Dead at 50

I bet Casper is shitting himself.

Update: The mother of Michael Jackson has been granted temporary guardianship of his three children by a court.
Wait a minute! What the hell are they thinking?
Weren't his parents always scapegoated for his deviant sins?
This can't be good for the children.

Castro & Clinton...

... and Hugo & Barrack?!

It seems all the top COMMIES have rallied in support around Zelaya, as Honduras attempts to defend its democracy.

Such reaction was to be expected from those Latin-American dirt bags, but it is nothing short of shameful when this support for a cruel dictator comes from the supposed leaders of the free world.

Hey Barry! what happened to "not meddling", as with Iran?

Obama and Clinton should be so very ashamed, and the complacent American masses need to WAKE THE FUCK UP!

In your face, BEE-ATCH!!!

High Court reverses Sotomayor in firefighter case

The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of white Connecticut firefighters in a 5-4 ruling that reverses an appeals court finding by Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor, the Associated Press report.

The high court found that the firefighters in New Haven, Conn., were unfairly denied promotions because of their race, reversing a decision that Sotomayor endorsed as an appeals court judge.

I told you she is racist!

...and ugly too.

btw, I must note that the decision handed down by those "esteemed black robes" was by an all too narrow 5 to 4 vote.It should have gone 9-0, if we lived in a just society.

we've won the battle, yet the war rages on.

Obama Won't Help the Iranian protesters...

... But YOU can!

If you are on Twitter, set your location to Tehran and your time-zone to GMT +3.30.

Security forces are hunting for bloggers using location/timezone searches. The more people at this location, the more of a logjam it creates for forces trying to shut down Iranians' access to the internet.
Cut, paste & pass it on*

No Man Is An Island

You must forgive my recent inactivity on the blog.I've been vacationing in lovely Bora Bora. It's an enchanting place, the perfect escape from the world of shit going on back in the states.I will deal with that upon my return.

But for now, its time to relax.

How did Al afford this? you might ask.
Don't bother.Questions like that can get one killed.

Cuntessa Brewer is a hypocritical douchebag!

pMSNBC's airhead slut is unarmed when she enters a battle of wits with John Ziegler.
During an interview on "Barack Obama's official network", Cuntessa (it's a typo--that's my story.) says that she sees no reason for Sarah Palin to feel insulted by David Letterman's futile attempts to satirize her (the bucktoothed jackass referred to her as a "slutty flight attendant", and said that her daughter was bestialized by A-Rod.).She is, however, so insulted by John Ziegler stating the obvious lack of class at her network, that she cuts off his mic and ends the discussion.
Ms. Brewer is one stupid bitch and was no match for Ziegler, who chewed her up and spat her out in the exchange.
It would seem that conservatives are fair game, but don't dare to do any less than worship a Lib.
It is sooo sickening how the state-run media continues to kiss the collective ass of this corrupt administration which has imprisoned the American populace!
For whatever it's worth, I agree with Sarah.Letterman is "pretty pathetic".Not so much for his comments about her, but just in general.Dave hasn't been funny in a long, long long time.

His words are useless, deceptive, misleading, misdirecting and devoid of content, and lack sincerity.

if those are even his words that he reads off tha teleprompter.
Barack Obama's 10 mistakes in Cairo:

(by Toby Harnden at Telegraph.co.uk--funny how the British press has the courage to report things that the U.S. state-run media won't)

1. "Given our interdependence, any world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will inevitably fail." With this phrase, Obama dismissed the notion of American exceptionalism, the belief that the United States occupies a special place among nations. Obama clearly doesn't see the United States as a "Shining City upon a Hill" or its history, constitution or way of life giving it special qualities or responsibilities in the world. When asked in Strasbourg whether he reduced "American exceptionalism" - a term coined by Alexis de Tocqueville - as mere patriotism. "I believe in American exceptionalism, just as I suspect that the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism." By trying to reduce US status to that of just another nation, Obama diminishes the role of American leadership.

2. "I am a Christian, but my father came from a Kenyan family that includes generations of Muslims. As a boy, I spent several years in Indonesia and heard the call of the azaan at the break of dawn and the fall of dusk." While watering down America's status in the world, Obama has consistently sought to elevate his own status to that of a universal, healing symbol as if his very being, his inspiring life story, his Muslim background, his father from Kenya, his childhood spell in Indonesia will square the circle in the Middle East. If only it were as easy as that. This comes across as naive, even pandering.

3. "Around the world, the Jewish people were persecuted for centuries, and anti-Semitism in Europe culminated in an unprecedented Holocaust.... On the other hand..."

Yes, Obama spoke strongly and unequivocally about the six million Jews who were exterminated in the Holocaust. But he immediately appeared to equate this with the suffering of Palestinians who have "endured the pain of dislocation...endure the daily humiliations - large and small - that come with occupation...the situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable". This comes dangerously close to moral equivalence.

4. "The U.S. government has gone to court to protect the right of women and girls to wear the hijab, and to punish those who would deny it. I reject the view of some in the West that a woman who chooses to cover her hair is somehow less equal, but I do believe that a woman who is denied an education is denied equality." Probably the worst passage of all. By highlighting the most superficial aspect of women's rights is the Muslim world, Obama dramatically underplayed the oppression women face. It's not people in the West who believe women who cover their hair are less equal, it's countries in the Middle East that dictate that all women are less equal. From the Left, Peter Daou, who grew up in west Beirut, rails against the weakness of Obama's stance on human rights: "With women being stoned, raped, abused, battered, mutilated, and slaughtered on a daily basis across the globe, violence that is so often perpetrated in the name of religion, the most our president can speak about is protecting their right to wear the hijab?" From the Right, Stephen Hayes, points out: "In Saudi Arabia, women cannot drive. In Iran, they're stoned on suspicion of adultery. In Pakistan, politicians publicly defend 'honor killings' of young girls who have the audacity to choose their own husbands."

{Al's note: I wonder if that's why Michelle stayed away.}

5. "I am honoured to be in the timeless city of Cairo..." It's one thing to go to the heart of an autocracy in the Middle East and to deliver hard truths. It's quite another to describe President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt as a "force for stability" and then go to Cairo and soft pedal on human rights abuses there. Many Arabs battling for democracy and freedom in their own countries feel undermined by Obama's choice of venue. Spengler of Asia Times goes even further: "By addressing the 'Islamic world' from Cairo, Obama lends credibility to the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and other advocates of political Islam who demand that Muslims be addressed globally and on religious terms."

6. "Unlike Afghanistan, Iraq was a war of choice that provoked strong differences in my country and around the world. Although I believe that the Iraqi people are ultimately better off without the tyranny of Saddam Hussein, I also believe that events in Iraq have reminded America of the need to use diplomacy and build international consensus to resolve our problems whenever possible." In its essence no neo-con from the Bush administration would disgree with this. But the "although" betrays that Obama is trying to have it both ways - he's glad that Saddam's gone but he's against the war that removed him. Yes, it was a choice. Sometimes hard choices have to be made. Yet Obama seems to think that he can just split the difference and please both sides.

7. "No single speech can eradicate years of mistrust, nor can I answer in the time that I have all the complex questions that brought us to this point." No single speech - but perhaps a series of speeches, Obama implied. He later said that "words alone cannot meet the needs of our people" but Obama's preference for words rather than actions is clear. For all its grand vision, this speech contained no concrete proposals.

8. "And finally, just as America can never tolerate violence by extremists, we must never alter our principles. 9/11 was an enormous trauma to our country. The fear and anger that it provoked was understandable, but in some cases, it led us to act contrary to our ideals. We are taking concrete actions to change course. I have unequivocally prohibited the use of torture by the United States, and I have ordered the prison at Guantanamo Bay closed by early next year."

The "just as" is troubling because it goes dangerously close to equating what happened on 9/11 with the alleged alteration of American principles afterwards. Like the "on the other hand", it's sloppy speechwriting. Obama was eager to use the t-word - torture (though not another t-word - terror). By constantly referring to torture - which, even if one concedes that it was used was done so used in very limited circumstances and ended several years ago during the Bush administration - Obama buys into the narrative that America is to blame. Obama conveniently ignores the fact that torture of a far more heinous nature than has ever taken place at Guantanamo Bay occurs almost routinely in countries across the Middle East - and the victims are often more dissidents rather than suspected terrorists. Once again, Obama highlights the closure of Guantanamo Bay - though he has yet to resolve where to transfer its inmates.

9. "I know there has been controversy about the promotion of democracy in recent years, and much of this controversy is connected to the war in Iraq. So let me be clear: no system of government can or should be imposed upon one nation by any other." Obama talked about democracy but he failed to speak about the democratic government of Iraq. Whatever one thinks of the US invasion in 2003, that is a tremendous achievement and one brought about at a massive cost in American and Iraqi lives. It's an achievement that needs to be supported and built on, not least to demonstrate to other Arab countries that democracy in the Middle East is possible. Yet Obama seemed to want to ignore Iraq because he opposed the invasion.

10. "For instance, in the United States, rules on charitable giving have made it harder for Muslims to fulfill their religious obligation. That is why I am committed to working with American Muslims to ensure that they can fulfill zakat."

After 9/11, the Bush administration - with the full bipartisan support of Congress - cracked down on terrorist financing via some groups that posed as Islamic charities. So what's Obama hinting at here? As David Frum puts it: "It is not at all hard for American Muslims to give to legitimate charities. What has been made difficult is giving to terror groups. Is the president suggesting he will relax those restrictions?"
